Best Karahi Gosht Recipie

INGREDIENTS

1 KG MUTTON

TOMATOES (ABOUT 5-6 MEDIUM SIZE)

3-4 FRESH GREEN CHILIES

2 TEASPOONS GINGER PASTE

2 TBSP GARLIC PASTE

1/2 TEASPOON RED CHILI POWDER

SALT (TO TASTE)

1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER (FRESHLY CRUSHED)

2 TBSP. OLIVE OIL

METHOD 

1) Place the meat in a karahi or saucepan (preferably a karahi.) Combine the garlic and ginger pastes in a mixing bowl. And cook on medium heat until the water evaporates.

2) Add 3 cups of water to the meat. Cover and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Until the flesh is soft.

3) Once the meat is soft and seems to be cooked, add the remaining ingredients: oil, salt, black pepper, and red chili powder. If there is still any water in the saucepan, turn up the heat and continually stir, allowing the water to dry. Then add the green chilies and tomato.

4) Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot for 5-10 minutes.

5) Once the tomatoes have softened, continue stirring until the water has evaporated.
